Short texts provide fewer word decisions, making detection less reliable. Proofreading tasks where Claude makes only minor edits may leave insufficient watermark traces. Image outputs will use a different mechanism: Claude will attach C2PA metadata credentials\u2014cryptographically signed notes in file headers\u2014indicating AI involvement.
